Eagleston Named Defensive Player of the Week after Record-Setting Performance

NEW ORLEANS – App State goalkeeper Kerry Eagleston has been named the Sun Belt Conference Defensive Player of the Week the league announced on Monday. Eagleston posted four saves in a 1-0 shutout victory over Georgia State on Thursday, accomplishing both individual and team milestones in the process. The shutout was the Mountaineers’ eighth of the season, marking the most single-season shutouts by a team, or individual goalkeeper, in program history.
