Ibeas’ Brace Earns NEC Rookie of the Week Honor

BRIDGEWATER, N.J.- Coming off the first multigoal game of his career, Mario Ibeas was named the NEC Rookie of the Week. Ibeas joins Jonathan Ghobrial, as he becomes the second Knight to earn this award this season. The freshman from Spain played a crucial role in FDU’s dominant 5-1 win over Stonehill this past Sunday. Ibeas played a season-high 76 minutes and took full advantage of the opportunity.
