Local football and soccer players get recognized

The Sagamore Conference announced their all-conference football teams for the 2023 season this week. Tri-West was the conference champion, with Danville placing second. Lebanon, Western Boone and North Montgomery tied for third. Earning first team all-conference honors for Lebanon were Kaden Lark, Trey Ries and Brendan Shockley. Western Boone is represented on the first-team by Cannon Brunes, Philip Talbott and and Mason Tomes. Earning second-team honors were Lebanon’s Mason Crew, Jackson Folden and Taig Williamson.
