Men’s Soccer: Macalester Takes Down Augsburg, Heads to Semifinals

ST. PAUL, Minn. – The No. 4 seeded Macalester men’s soccer team hosted No. 5 seeded Augsburg for the quarterfinals of the MIAC Playoffs. The Scots put on an impressive performance this afternoon, defeating the Auggies 2-0. The Scots move on to the semifinals of the MIAC Playoffs. Junior goalkeeper Sam Price (Chicago, Ill./Lane Tech) made an early save just three minutes in to begin the game. The Scots quickly took the ball down to the other end, creating their own chances.
