Nemitz Earns Rookie of the Year Honors to Lead Men’s & Women’s XC All-Landmark Selections

Freshman Kyrianna Nemitz (Sinking Spring, Pa./Wilson) earned Rookie of the Year honors and six total members of The University of Scranton men’s and women’s cross country programs earned All-Landmark Conference honors as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon. Nemitz is the third student-athlete in program history to receive the honor and the first since Abigail Corrigan in 2017. The Sinking Spring, Pa., native was the highest freshman finisher as she took ninth in a time of 24:01.79 to earn All-Landmark Second Team honors as well.
