Service Credit Union Student-Athletes Of The Week: Jill Walker & Jakob Hellsten

DURHAM, N.H. – Junior Jill Walker (Simi Valley, Calif.) of the University of New Hampshire women’s cross country team and junior Jakob Hellsten (Ljusdal, Sweden) of the UNH men’s hockey team were named the Service Credit Union Student-Athletes of the Week on Oct. 30. Jill Walker competed in the America East Cross Country Championship hosted by Maine on Oct. 27 at Penobscot Valley Country Club. She was UNH’s top finisher on the 5K course with a time of 18 minutes, 15.19 seconds, which placed eighth among 81 total runners. Jill earned All-Conference Second Team honors with this finish.
