Torres Earns Big West Freshman of the Week Distinction

SAN LUIS OBISPO – After scoring his first collegiate goal – the 29th-minute equalizer during the Cal Poly men’s soccer program’s 1-1 draw at Cal State Bakersfield (Oct. 28) that clinched a spot in the Big West Championship – defender Joaquin Torres was named Big West Freshman of the Week on Monday.
