Two football players collect NESCAC player of the week awards

Hamilton College quarterback Luke Kurzum ’27 (Caldwell, N.J./James Caldwell HS) and kicker Ben Waterman ’27 (Milton, Mass./Milton Academy) have received New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) weekly awards for their performances in the Continentals’ 36-34 win in five overtimes against Tufts University on Oct. 28. Kurzum was selected the NESCAC Offensive Player of the Week after he was 17 of 29 for 177 yards, including touchdown passes of eight and 11 yards. He ran for 61 yards and another score.
