Mara Walker wins CCIW Student-Athlete of the Week award

NAPERVILLE, Ill. — Mara Walker has been named the CCIW Student-Athlete of the Week for women’s swimming, the conference announced Tuesday afternoon. Walker helped lead the Vikings to a dual meet win over Monmouth and a first-place finish at the IWU Halloween Invite last week. The first-year swimmer took first in the 200 IM race on Friday at Monmouth, winning by nearly five seconds with a final time of 2:17.01.
