Men’s Soccer Makes #1 Franklin Pierce Sweat in 3-2 Defeat

Garden City, N.Y. – Despite two one-goal leads, the Adelphi University men’s soccer was unable to stave off No. 1 and reigning national champion Franklin Pierce University in its 2023 regular-season finale Tuesday afternoon at Motamed Field. Impressively, Adelphi (9-7-1, 5-5 NE10) was only the third team to force Franklin Pierce (15-0, 10-0 NE10) to have to play from behind this season, joining Saint Michael’s College and the College of Saint Rose.
