Volleyball Starts Strong But Can’t Finish off the Spartans

UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS — For John Carroll’s Streak Out Cancer Game, the Blue Streaks faced fellow Cleveland natives Case Western Reserve University. In this Halloween matchup, the Blue Streaks started off strong, winning the first two sets, but fell to the advancing Spartans in the end. In a dominant first set for the Blue Streaks, senior Jennifer Follmer consistently caught the Spartans’ defense off guard to lead the team with 5 kills.
