Bengals Fall to Vikings in Big Sky Conference Quarterfinals

FLAGSTAFF, Arizona – The Idaho State soccer team completed their first conference tournament match since 2014 Wednesday afternoon. The Bengals gave it their all, but fell to Portland State 1-4. The Bengals got started early, opening the scoring in the 20th minute of the match off of Kaylyn Buchanan’s seventh goal on the season, assisted by a beautiful pass from Saydree Bell. The Bengals took the lead into the halftime break, 1-0. The second half would be a much different story as the Vikings put the heat on, scoring 4 goals in a 12-minute span, and downing the Bengals 4-1.…
