Lyon men’s soccer claims co-championship of SLIAC; Santos named Coach of the Year

ST. LOUIS, Missouri – The Lyon College men’s soccer team finished their season 10-5-1 and 7-1-1 in the SLIAC to claim the regular season co-championship of 2023. The league’s Defensive Player of the Year award was a tie between Lyon College’s Ronaldo Jacob and Fontbonne University’s Ryan Schwentker. Jacob, a senior, was the anchor of Scots defense that shined in the program’s first year in the league.
