Men’s soccer season ends in PAC semifinals

BEAVER FALLS, Pa. (Nov. 1) – The Waynesburg University men’s soccer team traveled to Geneva on Wednesday night for the program’s first Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) semifinal match since 2001. The Yellow Jackets were thinking upset after opening the scoring, but the top-seeded Golden Tornadoes rebounded with three-straight tallies to pick up a 3-1 victory and advance to the title match. Waynesburg (10-7-2) got the opening score from senior Tyler Mohrbacher (Freedom, Pa. / Freedom), who cashed in a penalty kick in the eighth minute.
