Women’s Volleyball: Marianna Hernandez Receives Rookie of the Week Recognition

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Roger Williams University women’s volleyball team posted a 2-0 record last week, that culminated in freshman libero Marianna Hernandez receiving Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Rookie of the Week honors for the week ending on Oct. 29. The Hawks two wins came in a 3-0 result over Curry and a five-set victory over the University of New England on Saturday. In the Hawks first match against Curry, Hernandez had 11 digs, and three assists with a service ace against the Colonels.
