Chaminade University’s women’s soccer team pulled off a stunning upset against No. 5 ranked Concordia University Irvine, winning 2-1. Haley Mo’okini scored both goals for Chaminade, while goalkeeper Naomi Takata made seven saves to help secure the victory. The win marked Chaminade’s first-ever victory over a ranked program and handed Concordia their first Pacific West Conference loss of the season. The Silverswords now have a winning season for the third consecutive year and will face another ranked opponent, UH Hilo, in their final game of the season.
