Cole Mooney and Kyle Grant earn SoCon Men’s Soccer honors

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The VMI men’s soccer team had two players recognized Thursday with the release of the 2023 All-Southern Conference Team, as voted on by the league’s coaches. Junior midfielder Cole Mooney earned second-team honors, while forward Kyle Grant landed on the All-Freshman Team. Mooney, a Keydet co-captain from Colorado Springs, Colo., ranks second in the SoCon with six assists, fifth with 14 points and 10th with four goals.
