Falcons earn 4-set win over Claflin

RALEIGH, NC –The Saint Augustine’s volleyball team took care of business in four sets (25-20, 25-20, 22-25, 25-12, 25-12) to beat the Claflin Panthers Thursday at home at Emery Gymnasium. The victory moved the Falcons’ record to 10-10 overall and 10-4 in CIAA play. The Falcons attack was paced by Madison Jones, who finished with 21 kills on the day while accumulating a hitting percentage of .475, and by Kavlyn Giacomelli, who had 13. Defensively, had three players reach double figures in digs, including Nayara Pereira’s 29, 15 from Sofia Sanchez, and 12 more from Serena Edwards. Game Notes »…
