Owls Season Comes to a Close Against SMU in AAC Tournament Semifinals

LAKEWOOD RANCH, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic women’s soccer team’s 2023 season came to a close on Thursday, as the Owls fell 3-0 against SMU in the 2023 AAC Championship semifinals in Lakewood Ranch, Florida. The Owls finish with an overall record of 8-7-5. The Mustangs took the lead with two minutes in the match. In the eighth minute, SMU took a penalty kick to extend their lead 2-0.
