Ty Doty Named GLVC Men’s Golf Player of the Week

INDIANAPOLIS — The Great Lakes Valley Conference announced that Ty Doty (South Elgin, Ill./South Elgin) was named GLVC Men’s Golf Player of the Week for his performance at the Kentucky Wesleyan Invite last weekend. Doty finished tied for fifth place in the 88 golfer invite at the Pearl Club after shooting a two-round score of 143 (-1). Doty shot a 70 for the first 16 holes which put him two under par. This is the first career honor for the South Elgin, Illinois native and Lewis’ first since 2019. FULL GLVC RELEASE
