Women’s soccer upended by Scranton in Landmark semifinal
SCRANTON, Pa. — The Elizabethtown College women’s soccer team saw its season come to an end Thursday night in the Landmark Conference semifinals. The Royals advanced to Saturday’s championship game with a 5-1 win over the Blue Jays. Scranton (11-3-3) got out to a 3-0 lead in the first half with goals in the second, 13th, and 24th minutes. The Royals held a 10-0 advantage in shots through 45 minutes as they put the clamps on the Etown attack.
