24th ranked Rockhurst gets past Panthers in four sets

KANSAS CITY, Mo.– Drury took a set from 24th ranked Rockhurst, but the Hawks got hot in the third and fourth sets to defeat the Panthers 3-1 in Kansas City on Friday. The first set went back-and-forth but Rockhurst closed it out for a 25-22 win. Drury then evened the match with a 29-27 win in the second set, but the Hawks took the third 25-14 and won the match with a 25-16 victory in the fourth set. Sonoma Hunter led the Panthers with 12 kills, while Kaitlyn Dean added 10. Lauren Tyler had 39 assists and served five aces.…
