Amherst College volleyball team dominated Connecticut College in a 3-0 sweep in the first round of the NESCAC Tournament. Led by Charlotte Rasmussen’s 16 kills and Kinsey Cronin’s 10, the Mammoths secured a victory. Amherst will now advance to face top-seed Wesleyan in the quarterfinals on Sunday. Anaya Thomas had a standout performance, serving six consecutive points to give the Mammoths an early lead they never surrendered. Carly Cooper contributed with five kills, 30 assists, and 10 digs, while Lizzie Papalia provided excellent defense with 19 digs.
