Bowdoin College’s Skye LaMendola led the Polar Bears to a 3-1 victory over the Hamilton College Continentals in the first round of the 2023 NESCAC Volleyball Championship. LaMendola recorded 19 kills, helping Bowdoin secure the win with a .308 hitting percentage and 58 kills overall. Despite the loss, Hamilton’s Carman reached double digits in kills for the 15th time this season, finishing with a team-high 15. Bowdoin will advance to the next round of the championship while Hamilton concludes their season with a 10-10 overall record.
