The Cal State San Marcos men’s and women’s cross country teams are preparing for the 2023 NCAA Division II West Regionals in Monmouth, Oregon. The teams recently competed in the CCAA Championships, with the women’s team placing fourth and the men’s team placing fifth. Renton McGregor and Carly Schuerger were standout performers for the team. The West Regional will feature teams from around the country vying for a chance to compete at the NCAA Championships in Joplin, Missouri. Head coach Torrey Olson is optimistic about the team’s performance and is looking forward to the competition.
