Cavicchio Named the NJAC Defensive Player of the Year; Joined on the All-Conference Team by DiDonato, Herman and Wenzel

PITMAN, NJ – Rowan’s Julia Cavicchio has been named the 2023 NJAC Field Hockey Defensive Player of the Year with teammates Vanessa DiDonato, Tess Herman and Kaylee Wenzel joining her on the All-Conference Team, as voted on by the league’s coaches. Cavicchio, DiDonato and Herman were named the All-NJAC First Team while Wenzel received Honorable Mention. Cavicchio becomes the 10th Prof to be named the league’s top defender and the first since 2021 (Molly Gorczyca).
