Five Panthers named to 2023 All-GLIAC teams

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Five athletes from the Davenport University men’s soccer team were recognized for their consistent efforts throughout the season and have been named to the 2023 All-GLIAC teams. Vitalis Takawira Jr: Named First Team All-GLIAC for the forward position, Takawira Jr. has played and started in 14 matches this year. He’s tallied four goals for the second-highest on the team (T-eighth GLIAC) and is T-second in the conference with four assists – the highest mark by an individual Panther.
