The George Mason women’s volleyball team suffered a 3-1 defeat against the Duquesne Dukes in a hard-fought match in Pittsburgh. Gabriella Gelfound led the Patriots with her 10th double-double of the season, contributing 26 assists and 12 digs. Despite a strong start in the first set, the Patriots were unable to maintain their momentum, with Duquesne winning three consecutive sets to claim victory. Ewelina Gacek stood out with 16 kills and 11 digs, while Camille Larkin matched her career-high of 10 kills. The Patriots will face Duquesne again tomorrow.
