MOUNT OLIVE (Nov. 3) – In a semifinal match of the South Atlantic Conference (SAC) Championship, Lander edges Mount Olive in the last second of the match to fall by a 1-0 margin on Friday afternoon at the Ray McDonald Sr. Sports Complex. With the loss, the University of Mount Olive field hockey team ends its postseason run for a SAC Championship title with a 15-2 overall record, the best in program history.
