Southern Wesleyan suffered a 3-0 defeat to the North Greenville Crusaders in an intense match on Friday evening. Despite the loss, the Warriors showed determination with 23 kills, led by Emily Ellis with seven. Megan Gilliland and Michaela Andress contributed six and five kills respectively. Amiyah Spann secured nine of the team’s 21 assists. Andress showcased her defensive skills with 13 digs and two blocks. Southern Wesleyan (3-23 / CC 1-15) couldn’t match the dominance of North Greenville (23-5 / CC 14-2) who emerged victorious with set scores of 25-14, 25-13, and 25-13.
