Super-Sectional Volleyball Tournament: Norris City/Omaha/Enfield Cardinals vs Effingham St. Anthony & Carmi-White County vs St. Thomas More of Champaign

Norris City/Omaha/Enfield Cardinals and Carmi-White County Bulldogs will be representing our region in the Super-Sectional volleyball tournament. The Cardinals will face Effingham St. Anthony, while the Bulldogs will take on St. Thomas More of Champaign. The Cardinals’ head coach, Jaclyn Melton, highlighted the importance of defense and passing against St. Anthony’s strong blocking team. Effingham’s head coach, Kristie Bailey, is excited for a rematch with NCOE after last year’s defeat. CWC’s head coach, Chris Lucas, expects a tough match against St. Thomas More’s skilled players. Shannon Monahan and Julia Johnson are key offensive players for St. Thomas More.
