The U.S. Merchant Marine Academy women’s volleyball team closed out their regular season with a four-set loss to Montclair State. The Mariners’ record now stands at 13-11 while the Red Hawks improved to 15-12. Seniors Brittany Breland and Meredith Buchanan led the USMMA offense with 18 and 12 kills respectively, but it wasn’t enough to secure a victory. The Mariners will now turn their attention to the 2023 Skyline Championship Tournament, with first-round action beginning on Tuesday, Nov. 7. Stay tuned for the tournament seedings to be announced by the Skyline Conference.
