University of West Alabama Volleyball Team Falls to Union University in GSC Match

The University of West Alabama volleyball team suffered a loss in a Gulf South Conference match against Union University. Union improved to 5-9 in GSC play while West Alabama fell to 2-13 in the conference. Despite the loss, West Alabama showed a strong performance, recording 51 kills, the second-highest of the season. Ally Craig led the team with 14 kills, followed closely by Jaida Alvin with 13 kills. Quiara Dunson led the defense with 18 digs, and Berfin Mertcan and Chyna Dixon contributed with 22 assists each. West Alabama will wrap up their regular season against Mississippi College next Saturday.
