WORCESTER, Mass.—Holy Cross junior William Schimitsch has been named to the Academic All-League Team, as announced by the Patriot League on Friday morning. Schimitsch earned a cumulative grade point average of 4.00 concluding his sophomore year. He competed in all five meets this season and was Holy Cross’s top finisher in three of the five. He finished first for Holy Cross at the Bryant Nassaney Invitational (16:02.9, 30th, 5k season PR), the Lehigh Paul Short Run (26:30.3, 135th) and the New England Championship (26:27.6, 21st, 8k season PR).
