WSOC: HCU Falls in SLC Semifinals to McNeese
Follow @HCUWSoccer CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – HCU held a distinct advantage in control of the ball and out-shot the McNeese Cowgirls, 17-7, but suffered a 1-0 loss in the semifinals of the Southland Conference Tournament. The Huskies (7-11) had the first real dangerous look at the goal on a sixth minute long-range attempt that sent McNeese (9-7-4) keeper Jackie Kelly flying through the air and hit the top corner of the crossbar.
