Butt’s seven touchdowns guide Edgar past Boyceville in playoff shootout

When you’re the second-winningest head coach in Wisconsin high school football history and have been coaching since 1975, it’s hard to believe much could surprise you. But that’s exactly what Edgar head football coach Jerry Sinz said following his team’s 52-26 victory over the Boyceville Bulldogs in Level 3 of the WIAA Division 7 tournament. What was expected to be a knock-down, drag out, low-scoring fight between two of the best defenses in the state turned into a showcase of some impressive offensive performers.
