Interceptions on three consecutive series in the third quarter led to touchdowns for the Mavericks. However, the Mavericks let their guard down in the fourth quarter as Chadron State scored 21 unanswered points. Despite the late rally from Chadron State, the Mavericks sealed the victory with a fourth down break-up and a fourth-and-10 stop.
