It was a historic victory for the Vulcans, marking the first time they have beaten Azusa Pacific. The Vulcans took an early lead and extended it further, despite the Cougars pulling one back in the second half. Ultimately, the Cougars were unable to find an equalizer and only managed one shot on target throughout the game. Azusa Pacific will now head home for their final match of the season against Biola.
