Eagle Cross Country Ends Season With PR-Filled Regional Meet
Personal bests were the order of the day for Ashland University cross country teams on Saturday (Nov. 4) at the Midwest Regional meet in Evansville, Ind. The Eagle women’s team saw all five scorers PR on Saturday. Fifth-year Cassandra Ponzi led the AU 6K effort with a 91st-place finish in 22:31.27, followed by senior McKenna Woodruff (124th, 23:15.88), freshman Lauren Bero (131st, 23:21.71), junior Emilie Lemon (141st, 23:31.76), and sophomore Brenna Heinzerling (147th, 23:37.92).
