Field Hockey wins third-straight GNAC title with 4-1 win over Colby-Sawyer

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Graduate student Margaret Johnson collected a goal and an assist to propel the JWU-Providence field hockey team to a 4-1 win over No. 3 Colby-Sawyer College Saturday afternoon in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championship contest at the Scotts Miracle-Gro Athletic Complex. Freshmen Rayne Millett and Ava Pontes, along with sophomore Kameron Marando, also scored goals for the Wildcats (17-2), who became the first school since St. Josephs’ (ME) to win three-straight GNAC titles (2016-19).
