Flagler College women’s cross country team secured their spot in the NCAA Division II National Championship by finishing in third place at the Southeast Regional meet. Megan Churchill led the team with a ninth place finish, followed by Monique Whiteman in 12th place. Amber Schulz, Enola Savel, and Chloe Smith also finished in the top 25, earning all-region honors. This will be the team’s fourth time qualifying for the national championship. Wingate University and Catawba College also advanced from the Southeast Region.
