Football Suffers Defeat in Home Finale
LINCOLN, Neb. – Nebraska Wesleyan fell to Wartburg College, 45-0, Saturday afternoon. With the loss, the Prairie Wolves fall to 4-5 (2-5) on the year. HOW IT HAPPENED After stopping Nebraska Wesleyan’s opening drive, Wartburg went on an eight play, 58 yard drive and scored on a 14 yard pass from Nile McLaughlin to Thomas Butters. On Nebraska Wesleyan’s ensuing possession, Mac Watts picked off Carter Terry and ran the interception back for a touchdown.
