Gardner-Webb volleyball team made history on Saturday, November 4 by sweeping UNC Asheville and securing the program’s first-ever Big South Tournament semifinal berth. The ‘Dawgs, under the leadership of coach Eric Plunkett, had an exceptional performance with junior middle blocker Autumn Flowers leading the charge. Flowers recorded an impressive .714 hitting percentage along with 10 kills and 12.5 points. Freshman libero Molly Littlefield also played a key role with four aces. Gardner-Webb will face Winthrop University on November 11 in their final regular season contest.
