Gonzaga Falls to Santa Clara on Senior Day, 3-2

SPOKANE, Wash. – The Gonzaga men’s soccer team battled Santa Clara on Saturday night but fell 3-2 at Luger Field. Gonzaga got on the board first with a goal from Robbie Mora in the 11th minute. Mora dribbled the ball all over the box before finding the back of the net to put GU up 1-0. In the 28th minute, Santa Clara responded with a goal from Caden Buckley and assisted by Yoni Aidlberg to tie it up 1-1. Santa Clara was then awarded a penalty kick in the 37th minute as Jack Civitts drew a foul inside the box.…
