Gray surpasses 2,000-dig milestone for career as women’s volleyball falls to Centre, No. 22 Mary Washington

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. — Averett University women’s volleyball completed its regular season with a 3-0 loss to Centre College and a 3-0 loss to host No. 22 University of Mary Washington in non-conference action on Saturday. The two non-conference matches were the Cougars’ final prep before entering postseason play. Averett (13-16) earned the No. 6 seed and will travel to No. 3 seed Bridgewater College in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Tournament quarterfinals on Tuesday.
