Hillcat Women Finish Sixth At NCAA Central Region Championships, Men Finish 26th

JOPLIN, Mo. – Rogers State men’s and women’s cross country competed at the NCAA Division II Central Region Championships on Saturday. In the women’s 6k, the Hillcats finished in 6th place with 226 points and an average team time of 22:02. This is RSU’s best finish in school history and third-straight year with a top 10 finish. Katie Byrd led the Hillcats as she earned All-Region honors with a 14th place finish with a new school record time of 21:16.22, surpassing her own record of 21:22.5 from this meet last season.
