Ichabods finish a program-best 4th at NCAA Central Regional

JOPLIN, Mo. – The Washburn Ichabod men’s cross country team finished a program-best fourth-place at the NCAA Central Regional Championships on Saturday all-but guaranteeing an at-large berth to their second-consecutive NCAA National Championship meet. National bids will be announced on Monday. The Ichabods were led by David Kibet who finished fourth overall in a time of 29:53.75 breaking his own Washburn course record at the Tom Rutledge Course for the third time this round topping his previous best by 12 seconds and his time was also an Ichabod program record on a 10K course as well beating his own time…
