MEN’S SOCCER DROPS TOUGH NE10 QUARTEFINAL MATCH IN OVERTIME
ALBANY, N.Y.- The College of Saint Rose men’s soccer team took a 1-0 overtime defeat against Saint Anselm tonight in Northeast-10 Conference quarterfinal action at Sullivan Field. The visiting Hawks, the number five seed, upended the fourth-seeded Golden Knights courtesy of a 91st minute goal by forward Zach Verow. The two squads played a scoreless 90 minutes of regulation, prompting a pair of 10-minute overtime sessions to settle who would advance to the NE10 semifinals.
