Methodist women’s volleyball suffered a heartbreaking loss on Senior Day, falling 3-2 to Southern Virginia University. The Monarchs showed resilience, winning the first and fourth sets, but were unable to secure the match victory. Seniors Hannah Hewett, Carrie Jordan, and Aniyah Tate were recognized and honored for their contributions to the program prior to the match. Tate shone with a career-high 17 kills, while Hewett led the team with 49 assists. Methodist will now prepare for the first round of the USA South Athletic Conference Tournament.
