The reign continues: Wildcats win fourth-straight GNAC Championship
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Senior Angelina Carrion scored a pair of second-half goals to help the JWU-Providence women’s soccer team win its fourth-straight Great Northeast Athletic conference (GNAC) Championship Saturday night at the Scotts Miracle-Gro Athletic Complex. Freshmen Sophia Warburton and Jessica Lee notched assists for the Wildcats (18-2-3), who will find out where their NCAA First Round matchup will take place on Monday afternoon. Carrion was named Tournament MVP while senior Madison Sanborn, juniors Emily DeRoehn and Angelina Oliveira, and Warburton were named to the All-Tournament Team.
